NOUGHTS AND EXES (HK)
Instead of writing a live report, I find it's worth to make it as a Click + Listen post, because I discovered them last week. I was introduced to this indie folk band called Noughts and Exes during my short stay in Hong Kong and was lucky enough to see them in a free one-night music festival in Tsim Sha Tsui Cultural Centre Piazza Area C, near the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the historic Clock Tower, not far from the Avenue of Stars, so a place which was that night full of tourists who were passing by and young locals / indie music-lovers, among others. This music festival is called "HTC presents : HKU Music Club Annual Performance - Gig Rock 2011" and Noughts and Exes was on stage at 8:15 pm. They remind me sometimes of some of my favorite European indie bands, such as The Black Atlantic, Rue Royale or Broadcast 2000. Very good. I don't know much about Hong Kong indie bands and definately love their songs ! Enjoy !
