Au programme de cet Apéro Vintage de Bordeaux organisé avec les Boutiques Sonores: l'artiste montréalais Leif Vollebekk pour son 2e retour à Paris et le groupe français Orange Way pour lequel c'était le 1er concert.

Live report: 18th September 2010, WOODPIGEON(CAN) + YETI LANE(FR) + PLANTS & ANIMALS(CAN) at Flèche d'Or, Paris

I don't like when interesting bands play the same night in different venues, so you have to make a decision and not regret it. That night in Paris the Canadian artists Peter Kernel and Wolf Parade played at Point Ephémère. Also the English young singer Siobhan Wilson, the French bands Kid Francescoli and Edward Barrow at l'International. I heard good feedbacks of this two shows the next day. I went to the gig at Flèche d'Or.

Here was the lineup there (approximative time):

10:00pm - 10:45pm: Yeti Lane(FR)

Live report: 12th September 2010: LAFAYETTE YOUNG(FR) + WILLO(SLO) + YUKON BLONDE(CAN) at l'International, Paris

The French venue l'International which celebrated its two years early this month was not very crowded this Sunday. There were many gigs in Paris that week, so I guess that people wanted to have a calm Sunday night at home, and be ready for the upcoming week. The gig was a Boutiques Sonores party and it featured the French (band) Lafayette Young, the Slovak band Willo and the Canadian band Yukon Blonde.
